Hi,
I am currently studying towards a Masters of Science in Computer Forensics at the University of Westminster. As part of my course I need to complete a project in the area of computer forensics.
The project is aimed to challenge us to research, plan, carry out and critically evaluate an independent piece of work. This project can be based purely on an area of complex research. Or, alternatively, the project can include a practical aspect of computer forensics (for example programming a new computer forensic tool).
I wondering if anyne had any relevant project ideas for the current computer forensic industry. I am interested in both research and practical projects. However, I have no previous programming experience and so would not be able to do any projects involving this skill.
I would be extremely grateful for any ideas as it will allow me to have a full understanding of what areas of computer forensics need further investigation and therefore I can hopefully prepare a worthwhile project.
Thanks,
Louise
