There are many different ways of revising for exams. But what do you find is the best way to revise. Hopefully, we might find some new ways of revising, to help other people.

I personally, find that writing out notes into bullets points and in different colours helpful.

How do you revise?

Hi Dan.

I tend to 'boil down' the subject matter into bullet points on index cards that I can carry around with me for those quiet moments.

In the week leading up to the exam, I then use the notes to write full answers to previous or practice questions which I then memorise word for word.

I have found that in most exams, whilst the question wording will alter, they tend to focus on the same key subject areas as before as this is the most effective way for institutions to demonstrate consistent satisfaction of module learning outcomes, which tend to change very infrequently. I usually have enough verbatim words in my head to use in one way or another in exams to guarantee a pass - anything more (merit or distiction) then comes from more traditional revision practices.

Thanks, i might try that with my computing exam.
However i don't think i could do that with my CCNA 3 CISCO Final exam (Way too much information)
Thanks.

Anyone else have any good ways to revise?
