Backtrack
The latest version of Backtrack linux was released yesterday, version 4 R1.
This release has a 'forensic mode' as well as lots of cool tools. Had it running on my eee 701 last night and it works like a dream.
Its good for hacking, penetration testing, basic forensic analysis, forensic acquisition, incident response, and so forth.
Don't forget to catch the latest episodes of Forensic 4cast.
